GitLab, the DevSecOps platform used by more than 50 million registered users, is hiring a Distinguished Engineer to lead technical direction across its Core DevOps services: the continuous integration, continuous deployment, planning and source-code systems most GitLab users touch every day. As one of the most senior technical leaders in the company, you'll set architecture and long-term technical strategy across multiple teams and divisions, influence without direct authority, and raise the engineering bar for systems running at very large scale. Needs recognised expertise across several technology domains and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed, async-first organisation. Remote in the United Kingdom, the United States or Canada. The posted US base salary range is $250,000–$349,000, plus equity and benefits. Full-time. Verified live on GitLab's Greenhouse board.
