Resend, the email API for developers, is hiring a Software Engineer for Trust & Safety to keep its sending platform free of spam, phishing and abuse. You'll build the detection systems, enforcement tooling and automations that go from detection to action without waiting on a human, such as real-time rate limiting or a rules engine, and work closely with the developers who use what you build. Experience shipping ML or LLM-based detection in production, and knowledge of email (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, bounces, complaints and phishing campaigns) are a strong plus. Fully remote in European time zones (Resend also hires for this role in the Americas), with some travel for team offsites and conferences. Pay $150,000–$175,000, depending on location and experience.
