This policy explains what Remote Job Sphere does with personal data. The site is operated by Cameron Mcsorley, trading as Remote Job Sphere, Netherlands. Contact hello@remotejobsphere.com.

A quem se aplica

Job seekers can read the board without an account. Employers who pay to post a role, and people who sign up for email alerts, give us the details in those forms. We do not take resumes and we do not track applications. The apply button leaves this site for the employer’s own page.

O que guardamos

Alert signups: email address, optional category and region, an unsubscribe token, and the last time we sent mail.
Job alerts Pro: the same, plus seniority, whether you asked for a salary, the subscription status, and the Stripe customer and subscription ids.
Paid listings: the job text you submit, your email, and the Stripe checkout id. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s page, not here.
A functional cookie, rjs_country, and the same value in local storage, when you pick the country you work from. It remembers that choice for a year. It is not used for advertising.
When display ads are on, a cookie named rjs_ads stores whether you allowed or rejected advertising cookies. It is set only after you choose.
Standard server logs on Cloudflare, including IP address, which we use to operate and rate-limit the site.

Porquê

We send the alerts you asked for and publish the listing you paid for (contract). We keep a record of the charge so we can answer a payment question (legal obligation and legitimate interest). The country cookie is strictly necessary to remember the filter you set. We do not sell personal data.

Cookies e anúncios

There is no analytics cookie. Display ads are off, so we do not ask for cookie consent. If ads are turned on later, a notice will appear before any advertising cookie is set, and the board will still work if you decline.

Subcontratantes

Cloudflare hosts the site and the database. Stripe processes card payments. Alert email is sent only after an email provider is connected. Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area under their standard contractual clauses.

Durante quanto tempo

A live job stays public until it expires or is closed, then the page remains so old links explain that it ended. Alert rows stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Payment references are kept as long as tax rules require. The country cookie lasts up to a year, or until you clear it.

Os seus direitos

You can ask what we hold for your email, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to mail. Unsubscribe links in every alert do this for that signup. Cancelling Job alerts Pro is done in the Stripe Customer Portal; deleting our copy of the signup does not delete Stripe’s record of the charge. You can lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
